"For All We Know" Original Oil and Acrylic Abstract Surrealist Painting

€299.00

A hand cups an ear in an act of deep listening, framed by an overgrown archway that suggests a threshold between worlds—known and unknown. Two figures stand at the edges of this liminal space: one, shrouded in secrecy, withdrawing into the shadows; the other, caught in naïve bewilderment, stepping toward an unfolding realization. Like Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they teeter on the precipice of new awareness—the moment consciousness expands, revealing the unseen forces shaping reality. This is the birth of duality, of knowing and not knowing, where intuition emerges as the unseen guide.

The world around them wavers, its existence as fragile as perception itself. The abstract brushwork mirrors this instability, as if the fabric of their reality is disintegrating with each realization. Yet, in the midst of dissolution, the listening hand remains—a symbol of trust in what cannot be seen. Above, glowing Chinese lanterns hang like fruit from a tree, illuminating the path toward wisdom, reminding us that in stillness, we hear what was always there.
